Question: My refrigerator in the garage seems to leak a little pool of water every now & then. Is this something I can fix or do I need a service tech? BTW, it's an avocado green GE, self defrosting from the eighties I believe, but works fine.
Thanks

Answer: Unfortunately, MARS cannot offer advice or instruction online or over the phone due to the fact that we'd be liable for any actions taken by the customer.

Most likely, it's a drain problem. But, it could a hole in your drain pan. It could be a water valve issue. The gaskets on your water line may have worn down and be leaking. A mouse might have chewed a small hole in your water line. There are a number of possibilities.

I think the main problem is the color. What were the people in the eighties thinking? I guess that was the hip thing back then. Now, it's all white, black, stainless, and the new GE color "Metallic Graphite." So, I guess the eighties were a little more colorful.
