My fridge smells!

It sounds crazy, and there's a large population that already know this trick, but you can get the smell out of your fridge by using newspaper. Just wad up a sheet of newspaper and stuff it in there. You'll usually need it if your fridge has been turned off for a while.

Newspaper, in some cases, is almost better than baking soda. Make sure to properly position the newspaper inside the fridge. You don't want the paper leaning against the side. You might come back and peel it off to find an ink stain of the comic section on the inside wall.

Another newspaper tip --- it can ripen tomatoes! Wrap up a tomato in your favorite section, and watch it ripen. And if you can't find anything else to do with it, you can always read it.
